Mission Statement

The mission of AIDS West is to:

Deliver the highest quality care and support to people living with HIV/AIDS, their loved ones, partners and care givers.
Empower all those living with HIV in the West of Ireland to optimise their health and wellbeing by campaigning for the best possible support services and treatments.
Minimise the spread of STIs by encouraging people to take responsibility for their sexual health and to increase access to local sexual health services.
Promote positive sexual health and HIV awareness without prejudice or discrimination to all communities in the west of Ireland.
Raise awareness around HIV/STI issues and to campaign to eradicate stigma and discrimination.
